Events Happy 2011! By Melissa Minners               As we look back on 2010 here at G-POP.net, we realize we experienced a rather interesting and exciting year.  We experienced a number of firsts like hockey games and football games.  We checked out some Broadway musicals.  We received contributions from new writers and interviewed quite a few independent musicians as well as an author or two.  We checked out quite a few new movies and turned back the clock to check out some older ones.  We reviewed quite a few written works from short stories to classics to new fiction and non-fiction.  We read comic books and watched cartoons.  We took a look at some new and exciting television series…and some not so exciting series as well.  There were new magazine, video game and web cartoon reviews.  There were reviews of soundtracks aplenty from Broadway musicals, documentaries, television series, independent films and blockbuster movies.  We visited the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown - a dream come true.             New pages were added to the archives on the site including ones for the X-Box 360 and the PS3.  The Shop Page has never looked better with tons of stores to chose from where you can find anything from movies, music, comic books, clothing and accessories, gift baskets, gift cards, video games, hobby items, vacation getaways, car rentals, greeting cards and pet supplies.  You name it, you can find it at the Shop Page.             Now that 2011 has arrived, we look forward to all of the new adventures that lie ahead of us.  We have promised to bring our readers all forms of entertainment and we vow to continue doing just that in this new year.  We invite our readers to drop us a line about any forms of recreation you would like us to write about.  Know an interesting band or author you would like us to check out?  Have an idea for an interesting article?  Email us at feedback@g-pop.net or join the free message board and drop us a line.  We love hearing from you!             Thank you for making 2010 the best year ever for G-POP.net!  We look forward to what the new year has in store for us and hope that that this year will be even better than the last!   For feedback, visit our message board or e-mail the author at talonkarrde@g-pop.net.
