Ashton Kutcher
and Katherine Heigl
star in Killers, a motion picture about a career-driven young woman and the secret agent
she meets in France. Some would say that they have seen this story before, and they would be correct, but Kutcher and Heigl make the story work.
After a whirlwind romance, Spencer (Kutcher) retires from the contract killing business and marries Jen (Heigl), only to be sucked back in when his former boss comes to town to inform Spencer that there is a $20 million bounty on his head just before he is murdered. No one is above suspicion - the neighbors, the co-worker, not even the UPS guy - all are trying to cash in on the bounty. Jen soon becomes a target as well and learns to go with the killing flow.
The movie was a little campy and somewhat of a chick flick, but I don’t think guys will be opposed to seeing Killers thanks to all of the action scenes, including car chases, gun play and hand-to-hand combat.
Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl did a great job in this movie. They were believable as a married couple under constant duress. I’m not sure if they performed their own stunts, but if they didn’t, you would never know it. Tom Seleck
and Catherine O’Hara
are fantastic in their roles as Jen’s parents. O’Hara plays a raging drunk and Seleck’s character plays well off of Kutcher.
So, if you are interested in a cute love story with a lot of action and a good storyline, check out Killers in theaters now.
