Soundtrack   Film Music From The Limits of Control Composed By: Bad Rabbit Distributed by: Lakeshore Records Reviewed by Melissa Minners                           In The Limits of Control, a film by Jim Jarmusch, Isaach de Bankole stars as a nameless hitman in the process of completing a job.  His mission takes him across the country of Spain.  His objectives are unclear and he can trust no one.             The Film Music From The Limits of Control contains four tracks from the film composed and performed by the band Bad Rabbit.  The members of Bad Rabbit include the filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, Carter Logan and Shane Stoneback.  The tracks are arranged in a transitional way, their titles suggesting the dawning of a new day or a new sense of enlightenment: Sea Green Sea, Dawn, Dusk, Blue Green Sea.             The music of Bad Rabbit can only be described as psychedelic rock, heavy with guitars and dripping with emotion.  It’s all instrumental, no vocals, but somehow the music is able to convey major emotions.  The haunting guitars give one a sense of a man haunted by the actions or inactions of his entire life.             Fans of psychedelic rock will not only want to buy Film Music From The Limits of Control, but will also be awaiting a full-length album from this interesting band.  The Film Music from The Limits of Control does an excellent job in adding expression to the movie.  While the music was extremely interesting, I’m not certain I would want to spend all that much money on it.  Then again, $4.00US is not a whole lot for 15 minutes worth of music.  Check it out for yourself and discover the interesting sound of the band known as Bad Rabbit.   For feedback, visit our message board or e-mail the author at talonkarrde@g-pop.net.
